In either case the idea is quite staggering.

When I lived in Michigan I was a salesman for Keebler cookies. During the winter I always carried a down sleeping bag and several cases of cookies in my car. I figured I would never freeze or starve to death. In 1972 we had a really bad storm and I got caught at a rest area between Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids. We were snowed in by a blizzard. You would not believe how popular you are at a rest area when you bring in cases of cookies to hungary kids. We spent the night there with about 30 sugared up kids.
