Yesterday the ground was bare in most places, a little snow left from last weekend.

Since midafternoon yesterday, we got 24 inches of snow! confusion

I was going to take pics but I was running the blower until dark. Besides I was going to wait until it quit snowing… Another 6 inches expected yet tonight. head bang

Serious lake effect event, what a change! (Of course, a week or so back we went from 68 one day to 28 and snow the next) Assuming it stops I will document the event tomorrow.

I knew I should have gone south.

Have Barths, will travel. Tooling Along

Know what you mean about this bad weather Steve. Looks like we are going to have to mow the yard one more time before Christmas here in Georgia. cheers

24 inches by last night, another 6 this morning. 17 degrees. Still snowing. Lake Michigan must be empty by now. Remember, the ground was bare two days ago. head bang

It was about 1030 AM when I took these photos. Still pretty dark. The ground is not frozen so the snow is already settling.

The VW looks taller... Frowner

Steve, you just have to get a nice warm place to fit all those Barths/boats/and airplanes. People can live in the cold, but our toys deserve a nice, toasty, warm, place, with soft music to add.

This is crazy. From last Thursday through Monday we got 48 inches of snow. Wed nite and Thursday 6 more inches. Single digit temps. The lake froze over last night (about normal time of year).

They are forecasting 5-10 inches by tomorrow nite. I have already put 7 gallons of gas through the tractor. (For those of you who don't ever do this, think of how much lawn you could mow with 7 gallons.) head bang

Kevin, you are correct. I do not need/want to be here.

Seriously, this is the last time. If I had the Monarch sooner it would already be ready to go. Next year I will go to Hillsborough and stay south. If I come back I will leave it in Florida or at least somewhere south of the freeze line.

It is crazy to wait through this crap weather and then leave. Been in Michigan all but one winter of my life, getting real tired of snow. hmm
