Sometimes I think we're alone in the universe, and sometimes I think we're not.
In either case the idea is quite staggering.

Good karma this year. Thumbs Up

I went to get fireworks for this year's show at the locally owned fireworks shop. I got my usual $500 worth to go with the other people who live here on my lake. They had a raffle for $500 of fireworks. Got a call and I won the raffle! Thumbs Up

We have two raft/barges we use for launching out in the lake. No chance of fires, best view for all around the lake. Several others launch from their docks or shore. Amazing show for a small lake! confusion

I will have photos tomorrow… hide

The morning after… Battlestar Galactica limps to port. Starboard side showing minor battle damage. The other raft is upper left, still anchored. The county park is in the background. The entire shore was lined with many rows of folding chairs and spectators.

We ran steady for 40 minutes. Trashed the raft! Over 2 thousand people crowded the park and all around the lake. confusion

The other guy's raft. He shot off a bunch, had to go back to it later when some of the smoldering bricks started burning on deck! ROTFLMAO

Another great time to share with the local residents and all the RVs in the county park. Most of the sites are reserved a year ahead by repeat visitors. Thumbs Up

(I was too busy to take pictures during the show, I'll see if I can get some from the neighbors.)

If you Google Log Lake Kalkaska, here is an image someone posted a while back.
