You can see this transit near sunset on June 5, or wait for the next one in 2117.

DO NOT attempt to view this with sunglasses, smoked glass, nor any other "filter" that doesn't supply the blocking of ALL the Sun's dangerous radiation.

#14 welders glasses are safe, as are specially-designed solar filters.

I have a telescope engineered for solar (as well as proper filters for other scopes) that I'll be using. Without those features, a scope or binoculars are exceedingly dangerous.
