Hello all...We just purchased a 1986 Barth 22 Regal Diesel! We would like to put an overhead bunk in. Does anyone have one of these they aren't using or know where I can purchase one. Thanks.

That's her! The pics don't do her justice. Will post some in the next couple weeks. We are very excited and proud to be Barth owners. Also looked at the 28' in pa which we really loved, but the 22' fit our needs better.

I have a complete scissor overhead bunk setup that was in my "73-19 footer. There is no mattress. It was out when I got the rig so I never saw it in operation but as far as I can tell, it is complete. I don't want any money for it but it's very heavy and I think it would be very expensive to ship from Canada. Anyways, it's here for the taking.

I know people who have had good results at some web site where you list what you want moved and people bid on the job. I think the site is UShip.

Reado...thank you for the offer! Would you be able to give me a quote for shipping to Annapolis, MD. Also, can you tell me the dimensions and weight. And, finally, do you or any of the other Barth owners know if it is even possible to install an overhead bunk in a coach that didn't come with one. I'm concerned about the lockers over the cab windows and windshield. Would I still be able to access them or would they need to come out? Thank you for all your help.

No problem. I'll get some weights and measurements. I'll try and get some pictures. I don't know if there were cabinets above the windshield and side windows. I doubt it but maybe more knowledgable Barthers have an opinion. The previous posts by Mogan David and Bill NY would be very helpful to you. Now shipping all the parts to Maryland...very expensive!Maybe you could check from your end.

6.2 "puller" configuration. Essentially the same configuration as yours, Richard, but with different fuel.
Sadly, has little in common with a current DuraMax.

Here are some weights and measurements.
frame and plywood deck: 40"x 83"x 6" - 70 lbs
scissors (2): 7 x 44 x 3 - 20 lbs each

Total approx. weight - 126 lbs
I've never shipped anything this big. Would they components have to be packaged? Anyways, let me see if I can attach some photos.
