Interesting. Self propelled RVs were only 16% of the the total fires, but 28% of the fires were in engine, driveline and wheels? hmm

Not surprising for gas engine vehicles. It appears that appliance/heater fires were the next major cause.

Another reason to be careful with maintenance of fuel system and heaters. confusion

No specific data on refrigerators, water heaters or furnaces! I would think this would be a category onto itself. Wonder what falls under the Equipment or heat source portion,

wheels?

Overheated bearings and flat tires on trailers. D'oh Continuing to drag a trailer with wheel and/or tire problems for a long time down the road will result in the production of some pretty nasty heat. Steve, you would have recognized that had it not been for that Milwaukee's Best or Vat69 you were sipping. ROTFLMAO cheers enjoy sunny (38 F ) Florida!
