I believe it's a Regal, not a Regency.

I believe it's a Regal, not a Regency.
Here's a picture of my Barth. After searching the site, I think it's a Regal. The gentlemen I got it from had originally listed it as Regency.

Duane, This member is more near to you than I am. I told him to read your posts about the "New Coach" the local football team got. He will then be able to get his Barth home.
He will also be reading the posts by our famous Steve VW to get a handle on his BaRTH.

You are correct. All Regencies are Diesel Pushers. Never seen a Regency with a tag axle.

Looks like a 84-85 Regal based on mirrors. Duane your 88 has brow and is 2" wider than 86 and early. There is a Royale tag axel that appears to be built with a Regency body on GM chassis.

The Long gone Craig's list add has most of the dimensions but I think the comment about the tag axle and height is not correct. I believe the tire reference should have been rear. further the height, 110" would be just about 3/16" over 9 feet, with AC height is listed as 121", that is just a tiny bit over 10 feet! I don't believe any Barth 38 foot long coach on any chassis was that height.

Ed, I would to have saved a picture of this coach that was posted on Craig list. When Nick posted about tag on Regency's I remembered seeing this one. It was a really nice looking coach. I went back using search to find the post. They were asking good $'s and I think it sold quick. Guessing it is really 11'0" and 12'4"

For sure anything is possible with Barth! The first thing I look at is how far forward the front wheels are on the chassis. If they are quite a bit forward and mid entry it is usually a gasser, further back and front entry it is almost almost always a pusher. I wouldn't be surprised if someone has a front entry and front engine, but who wants to crawl over a doghouse to get in the coach?

Further, a diesel pusher with a Cat engine and Allison trans, tag axle would be very difficult to get something like that from Gillig.

Sure wish we could find the pictures somewhere!
