Talked to Lester last night. The rear tires were replaced two years ago, the fronts in 1995. The original Barth 'build' order is not in the binder so he doesn't have much info. I asked him to take some pics of the undercarriage. Both Ohio and the Carolina coast are bad environments for undercarriage rust. There are several areas in my 85 Regal that have rusted badly due to the first 13 years of life being on the Florida coast and no one keeping the undercarriage free of salt buildup. Swansboro is a long way from anywhere. About 5.5 hours from Charlotte, 2.5 from Norfolk, 2.5 from Raleigh, NC, etc. So, I'll have to have a pretty good feeling about it before I invest the time and money to go look at it. How much would a 4 to 5KW generator cost?

For $2700 you can stick a new Honda EV4000 in there and you will be so happy with it you'll thank the guy for removing the old one!

I think Rusty is running a Honda now.

Wow, this looks identical to the pictures I've seen of my grandparents first Barth. But I'm not sure what year it was, but looks VERY similar to the pictures I've seen.
