Owners manual 1991 Regency 34'

I am looking for a manual for the 1991 Regency 34' that we have. I need to find out what the fuel tank holds for one thing.

Jimbo, what is the data tag# for your coach? I see your profile lists 38' but you're telling us 34' in this post - just trying to square up what you have there.

Jimbo, two methods to determine fuel tank capacity come to mind. The first method, which I have personally accomplished and that I do not recommend: Run it out of fuel going down the interstate then immediately Fill it up. This is a very exact method.

Now a better method, call the manufacturer of the chassis with the VIN and they will tell you the tank capacity.

If it's a Spartan chassis it'll probably have a 100 gal fuel tank.

Bill Goodwin (data tag# 9202-0159-36RG-13) and Roklobster (data tag# 9106-0154-34RG-B2) have a 150 gallon tank on their Gillig Chassis.

You have to watch it though... some of these tanks had the fill port in the side of the tank - not on the top. So even if you are able to read the tag that is on all fuel tanks - it might not be correct for actual volume.

Not so fast- My Gillig chassis original book said 150 gallons for fuel tank but I had it dropped and cleaned and then calibrated so the gauge was accurate - turns out it was 8o gallons and nowhere was that listed in any of the books. The water, black and gray tanks were accurate as listed.

Measure the dimensions of your tanks in inches. Multiply all three and divide by 231 and that will give you gallons.

My 1984 Regal Royale 35'

Gas 90 gallons
Black water 50 gallons
Grey water 25 gallons
Potable water 76 gallons (2 tanks @38 apiece)
Propane 40 gallons (only 80% is usable)

I wrote the figures on the door that opens to
access the tank valves...so I'd remember
