1978 - 1979 Barth Ad Campaign.

These images appeared in several National and International magazines.

Because of the flat chrome bumper, the coach pictured with the jet appears to be from 1976.

I love that last ad, the way I read it the guy is getting out of his Lear Jet with his girlfriend while his wife and child are waving from the Barth. Did I get that wrong? Anyway, sign me up!!!

That bottom pic occupies a place-of-honor in my Barth, along with trip momentos....Guess it's the Lear that made it special Wink

Sidebar: The boy in the pic has posted here in year's past....I believe his father worked for Barth at the time of the photo shoot and he wanted to locate a copy of the ad. Sent him a scanned copy, but finally got him hooked-up with an original on eBay 3-4 years ago.....Maybe he still lurks here and would give us some details.....He'd be close to senior-status by now I'd think......

This ad was released for Barth's potential European customers. If you look closely, you'll see the Butler in the drivers seat. That lady is his "Au Pair." The two who just left the Barth is none other than Robin Leach and Shari Belafonte.

Bill H might have more on this subject... Wink
