I believe I recognize that front end. Is the the coach formerly know as "Steve VW's" ? Sorry Steve that is why I name mine. Barth_Vader looks good. How about a pic lighting up the night? How is the light? Bright white or the blue light special?

Vader has the same headlights I just put on the Nose, "holy cow bright" it is a white light. Not sure how the oncoming traffic is going to like me, I was as careful as I could be aiming them. I did rewire using relays direct to battery. Not expensive, whole job, with relays less then $100.

Got the bulbs and relays on Ebay for $65, and $8 respectively, had to get new plugs at the auto parts store. About $15.

My wife names ours as well. Mavis is my 85 and Steve's former coach has been dubbed Hazel. I will try to get some night time road pics.

I run the silver star sealed beams in the Jeep and feel they are a great improvement over the stock halogens .
I've also run them in my truck for many years . I will install them in our future Breakaway along with the low beam relays . I installed both high and low beam relays in my 86 F350 years ago to prevent the headlight switch from overheating .

On our fire truck and medic unit I upgraded the headlights to Hella replacement kits with changeable bulbs . They work really well too , but are a little pricey .

We have the JW Speaker led headlights in our newest fire truck . It has basically the same sealed beam headlight configuration as your Barth . The leds are awesome if you are driving the fire truck , but not too kind to oncoming traffic . They are adjusted correctly , it is the glare that is blinding .
I think I'll stick with the Sylvania Silver Star .

Went with LEDs. Looks like Vaders. Got the 90 watt equivelent. Man are they bright. Now just have to do a nite trip. Only drove the MH with headlights once last year.
