I've noticed (especially when the OAT is around 10°F), that my dash heat is weak except when the engine idles. I suspect that when running the opening of the thermostat reduces flow to the heater core.

I'm considering installing a booster pump to harvest engine heat before the radiator wastes it.

Any suggestions like sources/part numbers?

Rusty, How about one of those small brushless motor circulating pumps designed for closed-loop solar systems?...handle either suction or head pressure, 3-4 ltr/min flow, glycol, high temp and voltage tolerant, etc.

Thanks for the suggestion! However, I couldn't find any that were 12VDC - 12VAC, 24VAC, or 120VAC.

I think I've found what I need.

I cruised the school bus tech forums, and the Groco pumps were greatly favored over the Bluebird and Bergstrom.

MPPUMPS is the most common circulation pump that I've found. Their School Bus pump is a good candidate for you and the pump portion is rebuildable. 6GPM (or less) and 12V are the basic specs. Various MPPUMPS part numbers 29924, 28985, 28987 - perpendicular or vertical inlet/outlet arrangements differ.

NAPA 3/4" hoses with a 90-degree bend are useful - P/N 8078.

MPPUMPS is a division of Tecumseh.

Bergstrom is out of business and their 12V pumps were not rebuildable.

I've seen these on ebay at various times and other similar ones - search 12V circulation pump.
