MCC Owner's Parts Spec's?
I occasionally do a search to see if I can find any and all information on MCC coaches...and have often wondered why there is not just one location for everyone's input on what they know and/or have experienced with these.

So, I was hoping us MCC owners could put together all the information we may have on chassis parts, tips, ideas, etc...in one location.

Information that would help any of us in locating replacement parts; vendor, part number, and/or supplier.

Areas of interest may include, but is definately not limited to, shocks, steering stabilizers, oil, grease, u-joints, rotors, brake pads, master cylinder, power steering pump, steering box, tie rod ends, transmissin fluid, any filters, lug nut torques, windshield replacement, wiring mods, or anything that the do-it-yourselfer would be interested in.

Tips for these old coaches would be helpful to all of us also.

Thanks,
John

John, I think that is a great idea. I'm not sure how many mcc/Barth/regency owners are left on the site but you and i make 2. OTHERS?
Dave is there room for something like this?
While I'm thinking of it, What ever happened to Duteman? Did he sell and move on?

Front Shocks: I believe to be Monroe, but can not confirm.

There are two sets of numbers stamped on them:

Steering Stabilizer:

Steer-Safe (blue): Model number: 41-230

Bracket Assembly: Model Number: B319K2

Note: had to drill the hole out to 7/16", as they were not punched to the proper size. Installation was very easy. Took a few adjustments to get the stabliler on center, where I did not have to fight a pull on the steering wheel to either side while driving. Once centered...I am Very pleased with purchase, as before it would take two hands to drive, I now only have to drive with one hand.

The rig I bought in 2004 as a 1982 MCC/Barth looks exacty the the 81 Regency listed in the gallery.

This rig was purchased in Washington State and has a 3208T with an MT trans.(obviously not factory)

I have been doing a lot of in depth work on all the systems.

I can start dumping OEM and aftermarket part #s here if this is the proper place.

I had been thinking about this also since my Buick Riviera club did something similar a number of years ago. They have sub-categories for different years. Could we add categories for all the different models that might be requested. I would certainly put in a request for the most important Barth's, that being 1990 Regency 38RDG-B's on a Gillig chassis with the 3208TA Cat. Big Grin

I also have an 81' MCC Barth. I'm in the process of restoring it. It's a smooooth ride!
I think Jim Black can answer most questions on the MCC and he has parts.
