Gary, do you happen to know the current draw of the constant duty solenoid?

This is an old topic , but i thought i would share my experience with the low idle and stalls . Our 94 Cummins 8.3 was stalling when stopping and the idle was low . The 8.3 and 5.9 have the same injector pump , the "p" pump . After much research , i found that replacing the overflow valve fixed the problem.
