I have a Allison 8 speed with the sector Pad, it flash on and off and sound like it is plunged into a blinker module.

this is on a Army surplus LMTV M1078

I just picked it up Tuesday. Transmission issue was a very unexpected and unpleasant surprise.

I hope somebody can help me

I don't think you will find any useful information here about the Allison 8 speed transmission. The LNTV was released to the army in 1996, Barth ceased operation in 1997/1998, the 8 speed did not see service in the RV market during this time and still the transmission of choice for RV is the allison 6 speed series MD3000/MD4000.
