am attempting to find info on my Kohler propane fueled generator. I think its a 7/7.5 KW but not close to rig currently. Would someone have a pic of the data plate showing model and spec #'s? 1991 model.. Not running currently and thought to be a distributor problem so am eventually looking for parts / ops manuals.. model # 7CK...something or ?

By chance,is that GenSet powered by the K660 flat twin Kohler engine or the L654 flat four Kohler engine? Anyone?

We had one in our bus conversion many years ago. It is a 2 cylinder boxer engine. Anyway the biggest problem we had was fuel delivery. I liked it, but we had a 60 gallon fuel tank so usage was ok and propane was cheap back then.

I have the Dometic 7KW propane generator it is a 4 cylinder Dihatsu engine. I like it for the low noise but it does go thru propane and propane now is expensive! Parts are no longer available so I have a ticking bomb!

My troubles with propane generators have always been fuel delivery, the fuel vaporizer gets gummy and will not regulate fluid to vapor conversion very well. Also, spark plug gaps of propane engines need to be set around 0.020" will start better and faster.

I have been looking for an inverter style diesel generator but at $1.00/watt, kinda hard to justify.
