I'm not having any luck finding a replacement in-line fuel filter for my '86 Regal with a 454. I replaced the carb filter, but no one can help me with the in-line. It's a regular metal canister with 1/2 inch inlet and outlet nipples. I've been to four different autoparts stores and a farm implement store. Nobody can help me.

Golly, half inch sounds pretty big. Did you take the old one into the shops with you?

Sounds like you Barth had the service bulletin done on it to cure vapor lock. Did they run the line outside of the frame rail to keep it away from the exhaust?

FWIW, my present and past P30s have used the NAPA FIL3033, which has 3/8 nipples.

The OEM pn for mine is GF61P.

HERE is an inline filter for 1/2 inch hose.
