Thickness of glass

We have a 1972 Barth (22ft) and we need to replace the beading seal on the windows, since some of them have stripped away and have been causing water leaks.

We've found the type of gasket on all-rite.com, called the Hehr Glazing Bead Seal. But it comes in 2 sizes, based on the thickness of the glass, for 1/8" glass, and for 3/16" glass. Does anyone what thickness of the glass the 1972 model has? Or an accurate way to measure the thickness of the glass?

Any help is appreciated, thank you!

1/8 would be very thin for a windshield. Side glass is often 1/8 but I've never seen a windshield that thin. Almost sure to be 3/16. I have one for the 86 in my garage at home but I am still in fla. I will be home in a few days I can measure then. Be careful. If you have the older small windshield there are no replacements available.
