I have to remove an inner wheel to break down the tire and change the tire valve or reposition it as it can not be accessed from the outside of the outside tire. The hole on the Alcoa outer rim is smaller and offset to the inner wheel where the valve is.

My son can do this as he has jacks and air wrench etc for working on his Freightliner tractor and the trailer wheels, etc. That one inch drive air wrench for the lugs wears me out just picking it up and holding it. Anyway, I was looking around underneath the Gillig chassis trying to figure out where the lift and support points would be. I am not seeing I-beams with flat surfaces near the rear end. I see a flat surface on the bottom sill of the coach and not ready to lack thru that. The cross member in front of the rearend is a flat piece of metal that is somewhat thin and upright.

So, would appreciate you learned and experienced fellow Barth owners giving me some input on this. I can take it to a big truck shop but again, they work on semi-tractors which have very visible frames.

Thanks.

DOn't know if this will help but when I had to get my rear axel repaired at a campsite, the mechanics had me raise my levelers, then put jack stands under the rear axel, after which I raised the levelers. They then put blocks down under the levelers and I raised them until the whole back end was off the ground.
