Ok,

Thanks Steve, kinda what I gathered no replacements readily available. Not worth the investment.

Sorry Kevin,
I would have provided you a picture, but I will not be traveling there as it is 150 miles away, if it was closer I would have.

The search continues....

Thanks

Glenn

There was some discussion of a custom replacement here. It looks pretty good actually.

OK. This kinda follows this thread.
How about a poll to see how many small glass coaches are out there and how many owners and potential owners want spares or need replacement windshields?

I'll start it off.

I called a fabricator who can make the DW 730 and 731 from an existing set of the glass (does not matter that they are cracked) and his quote was $10,000 for the engineering and molds then just divide $10,000 by the number of windshield produced. Forty sets would reduce the cost to $250 each, plus crating and shipping. There may be some more costs for the final units, but I did not get that. Only way I can guess at it we all sign up, have them made and one of our Barthmobiler’s group stops by the producer in Ohio and picks them up and then we distribute them at or more gtg’s over some time. I will sign up for two sets as they fit both my Euro and Regency.
Probably won’t work, but there is not much choice as we will all need one or more sooner than later.

The DW730 and 731 are still widely available. It is the shorter windshields that are not.
