Many times all the furnace motor needs is oil. I used Nick Cagle's topic to remove the motors. I just put a felt washer on the motor and put synthetic oil on the shaft and felt washer. My motors were squealing to an ear piercing tone. When I loaded the bearings up with oil and added the felt washer next to the motor the squealing stopped. It has been four years now with no problem except for the mouse family that was not paying rent.
