Red Line fuel cleaner.

The auto shops I go to all know about this stuff and most of the people say the following:

"Yea great stuff, no we don't have it and no I don't know who handles it."


So does anyone in the Los Angeles or Orange county area have a suggestion?

I believe I have seen it at Pep Boys and Autozone, but they are spotty on what they have, and when and where. Like bananas.

Oh yeah, it's proper name is Fuel System Cleaner on the label.

Caveat: It could loosen up a lot of crud in your system, so replace all filters before and after treatment. A gotcha in the Qjet is that the little filter in the fuel inlet is spring loaded, so that if clogged, it opens up and lets crud into your carb. So, instead of having your vehicle stop due to a clogged filter, which is easily remedied, the vehicle stops due to a clogged-up carb, which is not easily remedied.

And, if you cut the bottom out of the bottle, you have recycled and gained a nifty little funnel. You can also save the earth by recycling the bottle into little pads for tire irons when you change your motorcycle tires on aluminum rims. GEEZE!. Just put a new Metzeler on the BM. Either I am getting old or Metzelers are getting stiffer. Maybe I should use two irons or something. Had to wait until the sun came out to soften it up a little.

Shoot I never thought about Summit.

Good point about the filters. The first stop for this stuff is a Honda bike that has been sitting for a while. It is a shaft drive with four carbs that in the past I've stripped and cleaned, I hope this stuff works and I can set the Ford truck aside this weekend and use the bike for the commute this summer.
