Hello all. Does anyone have a wiring diagram of all the step wiring on a 1984 Royale? I removed my step this weekend because of damage wires where they going the electrical box on the step. I am just curious as to the theory of operation on these. I have two small door switches on the hinge side of the frame and I assume one if for step operation and the other a light maybe? Here is a couple of pictures of the controller. Its interesting to me it was repaired in 1986.

Here is the other PIC. The Two wires headed off on the left plug into the step motor. (Red, White with black strip) The large white and the large red come from the coach battery. The green with the loop is a case ground and the black with the crimp connector is I assume a light wire but was not hooked to anything. My step light is missing all together. The last two wires, a yellow and a black ( smaller of the bunch ) must come form the door switch. I had to remove the step because the loom of wires was cut off right where it goes into the box on the step, so I had to pull the pin out and then push the step out by hand to access the bolts that held it on.

The controller seems to work on my bench ( well at least the relays all work ) But would love some insight on operation. Thanks
