We just bought a 1984 Barth 35' 8.2 Turbo Diesel. The problem is the brake lights and left turn indicator do not work. My husband & his buddy have checked everything they can think off and can't find a solution other than running a new wire. Any one else had this problem?

Second, the fuel line to the propane tank has leak so it won't hold fuel, again anyone have any tips on the best way to solve.

Regards,
Susan

Have you checked the brake light switch? Also, check the fuse panel to see if one is blown. There could be a short in the trailer lights-check the plug and all connections. The turn signal indicator could be your problem if one side works and the other doesn't. Good luck,
Ed

Thanks for the suggestion, I think they have tried most of those things.
They are know trying to find they connector/plug in the wire harness to see if the brown wire (which is the left turn indicator) is open at that connection.

Susan

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SUGGESTIONS. MY HUSBAND FINIALY FOUND THE PROBLEM. IT WAS BURNT WIRE, HE RAN A NEW WIRE AND ALL SEEMS TO BE FINE.

HE ALSO WAS ABLE TO REMOVE AND REPLACE THE REMOTE PROPANE FILL HOSE.
