Is my converter wired correctly?
My lack of DC power when unplugged from land power turned out to be a defective new solenoid. But the way it is wired is very confusing. On my 3 post solenoid which appears to control my converter has a activating wire that always has 12 volts. I have working 12 volts in my coach without the land power but the solenoid gets very hot. Can anyone tell me what's wrong from the pictures? All the fuses and batteries are fine. The house battery switch is on.

The lower left solenoid indeed appears to be switching main power leads from the large fuse behind. It looks like it is being used to connect main power. It is probably the main disconnect for the house batteries.

If the house batteries are on, this relay will be energized to allow power through it. Since this is on most of the time, it may get quite hot. Be sure the solenoid is the proper type. Some are rated for intermittent use for starters, etc. while others, like this, need to be constant duty. They look the same but the internal coils are different.

If the relay is not constant duty rated it may overheat and fail again. This is a good item to have an extra around as a spare.

Thanks for the help and especially the part numbers. I know there have been several changes before I bought it. Supposedly the other solenoid was a constant duty. I know this one is but the hot solenoid bothered me. I know everything works but I will carry a spare.
