I Have an older barth 1972 22 that has two brake boosters under the chassis can anyone tell me why? also is my chassis a p-30 or p-32? how can you tell Getting brake parts are becoming a real problem thank you.

I too have a 72 22' Barth and I also wondered what those booster were. Does your couch have airbags in the frond coil springs? Dennis

Those brake boosters are vacuum amplifiers. Most 70's Barths have what are called vacuum over hydraulic brake systems. I think the industry name for it is "Hydrosist". That is, they use vacuum chambers to assist the hydraulic braking system. As for your chassis, being that it is a 22', it's most likely a P30. The difference being that the P32 was used for heavier (longer wheel base) truck frames. The 32 was also used later, as the P30 was used less. As for brake parts, Around here (Ohio) I can find everything I need at Napa. But if you are having trouble, try...
