Converted ole nose to a Gilmer belt drive earlier this year, broke a belt on the way to Minnesnowta in June,, MWrench to a look and discovered the pullies were not aligned correctly.

Talked to the guy who sold me the pully set and discovered a 454 needs a spacer, hard to believe this was not explained when the unit was purchased, to anyone that bought the set for a 454, the included belt was for a 454 so they knew where it was going.

Anyway, got the correct spacer the original guy does not sell it, took some time away from 88 and finally started the project. Thought it would be an hour or two job, wrong again! Had to pull the radiator took 2 days, but all is back together. Time to get back to 88!
