I have a '93 Breakaway with a cumins 5.9 190 hp. Does anyone know the part numbers for any and all of the fuel filters for the bus? When I stored it 2 years ago it was running rougher and rougher the farther I went after filling up with fuel when I left to store it. Seemed at the time like water in the fuel (ran normally for about 25 miles then started losing power periodically getting worse the farther I went). My current plan is to replace filters, add diesel 911 for the fuel in the tank, and replacing the batteries which are no doubt dead. The bus is in storage (in a mine) about 100 miles from home and parts availability there is none. I also need to know what the cold crank rating of the new batteries should be (can't remember). I plan on working on it this coming saturday. Thanks for your help

I have 230 HP but maybe fuel filters are similar or the same.
Fuel filter Wix 33472 near the injector punp
Fuel water separator Wix 33738, or Wix on the frame before the lift pump,
Oil filter Wix 57620

Your description of running does not sound like a water/fuel problem. Check your air filter. 190 HP engines are notorious for having the air filter plug, it is way to small and in a very dusty location. Lift pump could also be an issue.

Oh BTW I use 2 group 31 12V batteries (parallel) for chassis system, DO NOT skimp on battery power, smaller batteries will work but will take it out on the starter

Thanks Ed! I'll start with those and hope for the best. Is there a simple way to tell if the lift pump is the issue?

Just a note that the cummins isb used in the barth was also used in the dodge pu. When looking for filters I just look for middle 90 dodge diesel stuff.
