Bathroom and external outlets not working

Recently was changing out kitchen faucet.
The connections leaked and sprayed water for a several seconds before I was able to cut the water off. I smelled something burning. The source seemed to be coming from under the sofa. The event also tripped the GFI Circuit for the outlets mentioned. I have replaced the circuit but still no power to outlets. Any council or ideas of where to check next would be greatly appreciated. :-) Happy Holidays!

Barth used plastic connection blocks for 120v circuits. Are prone to problems. Might need to purchase circuit tracer to find them. Make sure your GFI reset properly.
