Maybe start a section or put a "featured topic" in tech talk with pertainent contact information for companies that supplied items for our Barths. You could start with the listing you have under the data tag section and then possibly add the likes of Dometic, HWH, ZipDee, etc... for easy and quick referencing.
Just an idea....
Apparently I don't have enough things to do. Big Grin

Just kidding - I think it's a fantastic idea. Please feel free to add to this list. Websites & phone numbers with a description of what services are offered.

Remember folks - this site is only as good as its content - If you have a few minutes, please try & contribute to this endeavor.

EDIT: To add in a suggestion by Bruce:

Compartment Locks, Latches & Key Info

Below, are the three style locks/keys that are predominantly found on a Barth Compartment Box.

1) The Chicago style Locks, now CompX. OU-4260

here is their website. Chicago Locks CompX

http://www.compxnet.com/

2) The Southco style locks.

ECP Hardware Co. in the suburbs of Detroit Michigan. 1-800-442-3274.

The new part #'s are
Key: E3-5-15
Lock: E3-35-35

These are identical in fit as the originals, the changes are the front of the lock is "Powder Coated" in black and the two mounting screws are now a metric thread. The new numbered key fits both the old and new locks. The new keys open the old locks much easier.

3) The Southco C5-24-45 Sealed Lever Latches

Any recommendations among all the various Roadside Assistance Programs? With the older coaches we have (and getting older…), having one of these policies seems like a Must Do.

Frontier used to be the North American distributor for Gardner diesel engines. While Gardner no longer manufactures diesel engines, a large number of Gardners are still in use in North America in fishing boats and buses.

Sointula Power Products purchased all of Frontier's Gardner parts inventory in January 2013. They are able to supply parts, and perform repairs on Gardner engines

Roger, I've used Coach Net since I got into the RV thing (04) and the one time I called them, they did fine. In fact the roadside assistant mechanic was able to clean out the carb and get it running while parked on the side of the road. They have a good towing policy. Had to use that on a Class C once. Never had to have the 85 Regal towed
