oil dripping from breather
Returned from a 300 mile run and noticed a slow steady drip of black oil coming from my breather hose. What does this mean?

Try just cleaning the breather. Maybe it is so dirty it just is dripping the old build-up when it is warm.

I don't know Cummins engines very well. I'd guess that unless you have a vacuum leak, the breather hose is not pulling that oil from elsewhere. Can you locate the source of the original leak? Could it be a valve cover gasket?

Oil mist from the breather tube is normal. It will increase as the engine miles add up.
A simple catch can will prevent oil drips on your driveway but will need to be cleaned from time to time.
Or go with a Walker Air-Sep system.
