Trasmission shifting adustment
My linkage to the transmission is a bit loose and it does not always stay in drive, I often have to jiggle it at a stop sign or light. I have not looked closely at it but I assume there are rubber bushings and such and an adjustment. Any thoughts?

Yes , There is a bushing on the frame that holds the shift rod in place . Also an adjustment were it connects to transmission . Loosen the bolt & rod slides forward or backward to adjust .

The way i adjusted mine when changing engine is , Put in park then go to transmission & loosen bolt. now move the shift mechanism on trans to park, tighten bolt .

Also check the bushing . Could be worn & leaving movement . Thus your problem .
