Misfortune today: I broke my key off in the deadbolt. I've talked with two RV supply stores today. They can't find a Dexter lock. I guess I have two questions. Does anyone know where/how to get in touch with Dexter? The deadbolt part is rivitied in the door. I'd rather not have to change that portion out. Which leads to my second question, are locks interchangeable? I've been told the supply stores can order one... it won't be a Dexter lock.

What do you think?

Have you considered driving to a locksmith? They have a little tool that fits alongside the broken-off key and has teeth that grip it to pull it out.
Shop by phone first, as prices are all over the map.
