I was disappointed when the 3208 went out of production and Caterpillar stopped making engines for road trucks. Now it seems the factory support is beginning to fade as well. The more info we have here on what fits what, the better we are.

My Cat dealer says they are going to come back with road engines and they still make parts and support us. With a million plus 3208's produced and in everything from boats to generators it is still a profitable enterprise. As you saw with the ps pump, there are lots of options to update our coaches. We can always make new pulleys and hardware to fit an accessory onto the engine.

By the way did the power steering fluid get changed along with the filter. I used Vintage Automatic Transmission Fluid to change my fluid and a Wix filter.
