Tom and JulieDiesel Maintenance
Here is an excellent article for maintaining a diesel powered coach.
http://www.rvtechmag.com/tech/...hassissvc.php?pg=all.
May help with the need for an Owners Manual. Most Barths did come with a chassis and engine manual that covers the schedules mentioned in the article.

Pirate19Understood all of it except for the radiator coolant recommendations. Does anyone have a suggestion as to what type/brand of coolant I should use to replace coolant in a '92 Breakaway (5.9 Cummins). And is flushing as simple as separating the lower radiator hose at the block, refilling with water and warm engine to operating temp.(with the heater core control valve open), drain and refill with 50% solution using distilled water?

RustyGasoline has a
lower vapor point than diesel (actually the term used should be (higher) "Reid Vapor Pressure" or (lower) "Flash Point")
"Diesel fuel has more BTU per gallon than gasoline therefore diesel engines produce more power per equal engine size than a gasoline engine."
Not necessarily so; diesel does provide better fuel economy due to the higher energy density. Diesels usually have longer stroke and so produce higher torque at a lower RPM."Both the API-CJ oil and ULSD fuel can be used without any problems in earlier engines that do not have the newer emissions equipment."
Tests have shown that ULSD barely meets (or doesn't meet) lubricity requirements of many injector pumps; using an additive to improve lubricity is recommended by at least one manufacturer (Stanadyne). API-CJ (Now CJ-4) oil is fine for older engines Rusty
