Instrument panel makeover

Got tired of all the cracks in the instrument panel so I used some iron on oak veneer to spruce it up. I covered the seems with hand cut diamond shaped oak stained a contrasting color.

Lookin' good! I know we're all too cool to be vain, but you gotta admit that knowing there's a big GTG coming up gives you incentive to do some cool little dress-ups like this so you can show it off to folks who appreciate it.

Danny,

No vanity here I'm getting the functional stuff tweaked. Things like TV's in and Air fixed and then when I see all the artistic and ascetic of all yours I plan on creative swiping and picking the ones I like to make mine better.

I have seen a lot of great fixes and modifications and love to see more. I will try and remember to send pictures of my modifications.

Richard thanks for sharing! Glad the pictures I sent helped. Something to consider when I have more time.
