I have a 91 Barth Regency, and would love to have an accessory that I have seen on pictures of other Barth coaches. It is a kitchen counter extension that flips up to add more counter space near the sink end of the counter. I am sure I can make one, but was wondering if someone who has one could give me the dimensions of an original and what they think of it. It would be nice to keep it close to that design. thanks !

Mine is a square the same width as the end of the cabinet. It's attached by a piano hinge which I had to replace, available at Homey and cut to length with a hack saw. Not sure what you call the brace but it locks in when you lift the extension up and you reach under and "collapse" it to lower it. Very handy when cooking but kind of in the way when it's up. Go for it! You'll like it.

We bought a bamboo cutting board that had the right deminsions and used it by installing lock up hinges (not sure what they are called) available at home stores (lowes, home depot and Menards).

Jerry same as others have I also found a cutting board with a drip channel around the Outside edge. Looks like it is a factory installed option. Used self-locking supports. Works great, looks nice up or down.

Tried photobucket, gave up so here they are: the flip extension os 14" wide and 10" deep and is made of Corian. I guess one could be made, if you can find a counter maker. This should be two pictures.
