I am trying to hook up 120v service for a
tv. In the area of the old space for the TV there is a 120V line but it is not live. I have yet to find where the line goes. Perhaps some that has installed an newer TV has the answer. I need help.

Most RVs have a 120VAC service for the TV but it is controlled by the ignition switch. It prevents the TV from operating while driving

On our 86 Regal the 120v line was run with 1 end behind front tv. The other end was rolled up neatly by the 120v breaker box. Our 120v breaker box is under driver side bed. (twin bed). I have read a few other post where others have found theirs by the breaker box. You will still have to connect it to your breakers. let us know what you find.

In my Regal the TV feed was connected to a relay near the breaker panel. The relay was energized when the ignition was on, interrupting the TV power. I bypassed the relay for a straight through feed a while back. Both panel and relay were located under the sofa.

Our Regal has the ignition relay, but only on the 12v circuit. I run the rear view monitor off this now.(switch relay connection NC to NO). I thought it was great that Barth had prewired for the 120v. as I run my flat screen off 120v.

I use an inverter. when not plug into the grid. I just plug the shore cord into a 50a receptacle. The 2000w inverter only provides 120v to the side of breaker box that does not have ACs, converter/charger, and microwave breakers. Had to relocate an AC breaker for this. This provides 120v to most my outlets. This allows me to run 120v florescent lights, fans, laptops, TVs etc. without having to fire up the gen. I also run the fridge off this (Fridge is 120v home unit ). Depending on the temp. Can usually get a few days if every thing is pre chilled and frozen (Good fully charged batteries).
