Hello,
I've got a 1973 25 footer with the small windshields.
Mine are both good but I did do some research just in case.
I found these on as replacement for the 62' & up Bluebird Bus.
Center dimension is right. Haven't inquired about availability so it may not be an option.

Are you kidding? Read the article.. you have to make a PRECISE 3D CURVED pattern out of wood and fiberglass, find a CUSTOM GLASS maker to build a furnace proof steel frame, then heat a glass blank in a furnace to let it sag on the frame, then cool it extremely slowly to avoid cracks...

It would take MANY hours to make the pattern. The custom glass would be a couple thousand dollars at least for the furnace support and heating. OK for an exotic custom restoration but hardly an amatuer project.

This is a reference to BOAT windshields using PLASTIC. Road vehicles must use DOT approved safety glass, more like the previous guy did. nono

You're right Doug! ROTFLMAO
Actually I have made curved windshields from plastic before for the many times we broke the windshields on snowmobiles. When I was a kid they were real brittle in the cold! Just can't use em on cars. Heated them in the oven

As for the glass that's a lotta work. Mechanic

Steve, educate me please teacher. What is the difference between a "cuved" windshield and a "curved" windshield?

It's a typo. And the OP was Doug, not Steve. So, not even worth mentioning.

Kevin ,
I would assume the "OP " in Rusty's post means original poster .
But , We all know what usually happens , when things are assumed . Cool

On curved windshield replacement, check out some of your local school buses. They use two pieces of flat glass. A friend of mine has a DAF bus (one of two imported into Canada) and glass became no longer available. Was able to make two flat glass pieces and lots of windshield putty to fit. Looks great.
