Broken shock mounts.

In the discussion and pictures of the shocks, while at Half Moon Bay, I was looking at the pictures that I took of my shocks and noticed what looked like a crack in the shock mount, well going out and looking, sure enough the right side mount was cracked and broken.





I rebuilt both mounts after I got home yesterday and beefed them up a bit with a gusset.

One wonders why Barth didn't put the mounting bolts on top, so the bracket would be in compression. Nice job, BTW. I need to get a welding machine...
