Yesterday we made a day trip to Magnolia Arkansas to help a 91 year old friend get his new cell phone set up . We met him and his new girlfriend at the Flying Burger restaurant for lunch . Turned out to be an excellent place to eat . We had real meat old style hamburgers , the kind that are hard to find in a restaurant . It was great with friendly folks running the establishment . Looked like one of those destination restaurants that you plan a trip to , it was that good .
I looked at it on Google earth before going and decided to take the coach. There is a large gravel area for extra parking that was perfect for coaches , big enough for a small rally. We could easily see the coach from our table to keep an eye on the pup . After eating a wonderful meal , we visited in the coach for a little over two hours . It was a great time .

I filled up with diesel close to home yesterday morning and made the entire trip and returned to the same diesel pump yesterday evening . On a 178 mile round trip , we averaged 12.36 miles per gallon .

Always have preferred preservation over restoration. Simply the peace of mind justifies the cost. Very nice.

Nice place for a coach! Thumbs Up
I always wanted covered storage but snow loads are too heavy here so I was forced to winterize the coach in Florida! ROTFLMAO

We installed a Houghton Low Profile 13.5 air conditioner heat pump in the bedroom . The Dometic was just too loud for sleeping . The Houghton is so much quieter . The next trip is in Arkansas in August so we'll really give it a good test . Temperatures will likely be in the high 90's with lows around 80 . Cool

Now I need to scrub the roof clean and re-coat it Mechanic .

A nice bright white roof really reduces the sun load, a big help in cooling an RV specially if the only insulation is that put in by Barth!!!

Be curious how the new A/C performs.

New skylights installed Smiler

Modifications went pretty smooth . Had to add shims on two sides to make the new skylights fit . Put down a nice bead of Dicor non-self leveling and fastened multiple screws with washers and gaskets .
