and came home with a big catch. We are now the proud owners of a 1988 Bluebird Wanderlodge XXV (25th anniversary edition). Now I can change my avatar (Kevin said a station wagon was lame). It is 39 feet and 7 inches (ok we call it 40), has a 8V92 and 64,500 something original miles. Just drove her home from Michigan and she ran great. She is a true beauty.
The only negative: sooooo many buttons, soo many options. It is mindboggling.
Will post some pictures soon. It got all the options plus some. And hey who has a full awning on each side of their coach??? Big Grin Had to brag a little

Only had to move 3 cars and a semi to get it in the driveway. Now I have to raise my RV port a foot to get it in there and sell a 19' camper trailer. java
To top it off it is a widebody.
Neighbor wanted to know if we are going on a World Tour ...

That's what 2 of mine asked also. The Monarch went off site for a while while I try to get ready for the WINTER (ouch) season. RV port would be nice Mechanic .

Don't we all have awings on both sides? Sorry Oh you are talking about BIG awnings.

Congratulations on Big Bird. Looking forward to pictures.

Minnesota Pheasant Season Opens tomorrow.. Of course I am working so might try and sneak out end of day!

About a month later the pics showed up in Photobucket. Meanwhile we decided this Bird was just too big for the 2 of us (we like state parks and an Alaska trip, the Bird is too nice for dirt roads). And really do Ineed a washer/dryer and a garden tub and marble kitchen floor to haul down the road? Just got carried away, the Bird flew off to its new home out west where it will enjoy a warm indoor garage during the winter. It sure is a beautiful coach.

BTW that funky looking "watertower" on top is a TV antenna

What was the old saying?????? Your eyes were bigger than your stomach?

I do know where you could get a really nice rig you know the history of and the care it has had. DBarth is still up for sale. Big Grin She is tough and I would have taken her anywhere.

If I wasn't so tall she'd have been my to the end coach. I love the room of Midnight but I sure see the difference in maneuverability. I have to think a little more in advance.
